VPASJ is available by phone 24 hours a day to address urgent problems. VPASJ does not, however, provide emergency home visits. Most emergencies require immediate care that only an emergency department at a hospital can provide. Our staff is available to assist in making the decision whether emergent care is necessary.

VPASJ accepts traditional Medicare as the patient's primary insurance. Most secondary insurances, including AARP and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, follow Medicare's payment structure. HMO Medicare Plans DO NOT pay for geriatric house call services.
